Meet Ana Christina... the face of Omgirl

How is clothing a reflection of your lifestyle?

My life is disheveled and unpredictable. I never know if I am working until the night before; I travel at the drop of a hat. Because I never know when I am going to be home again, I always leave the house prepared and put together. My clothes give the illusion that I have my life together when I really don’t (thanks Omgirl).

Who was your first style icon?
I saw the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s when I was younger and thought to myself “wow this Audrey Hepburn is a classy broad”. Even in her jeans she had some air of elegance to her.

What’s the one wardrobe staple you can’t live without?
My long black fitted pea coat with a velvet collar. Found it at a thrift store and it absolutely hugs me. I wear it with nothing under to the grocery store.

What natural talent would you most like to possess?
I am the worst terribly flat! I wish I could sing only so my friends wouldn’t have to listen to me belt it out.

What makes you feel the most alive?
The ocean. Some wave of comfort comes over me. It’s so powerful. Whenever I go swimming I have a sense of strength but also fear..anything that scares me will make me feel alive.

How do you unwind?
Yoga relaxes me and removes any pain in my life by reminding me to live in the now – that everything is going to be okay and to take life one breath at a time, without anticipation.

What’s your favorite Omgirl piece?
In the [upcoming Fall] collection. Meghan and her team designed these amazing leggings with little eyelets running up the leg to the thigh. So cute and breathable for yoga, but I'll be living in these every day.

Where would you like to be in 5 years?
I’ll probably be back in school, but who knows. I seem to always have a plan and end goal but then the universe tosses me incredible opportunities and I make adjustments.
